Camrose Parks & Gardens
Mirror Lake is one of Camrose's most popular spots, with numerous summer and winter activities taking place around its banks. Aside from regular events, the park is also home to a children's playground and is a picturesque place to enjoy an afternoon stroll.
Stoney Creek Park is a natural area that runs from 44th Avenue to the city limits. The park is known for its ski facilities and is a popular spot for cross-country skiing and biathalon training. During the summer, its extensive trail system is popular with hikers and mountain bikers.
Golden Jubilee Park was established during Alberta's Jubilee celebrations, and is a lasting reminder of Alberta's first 50 years. Located near the centre of the city, the park also serves as an outdoor theatre during Canada Day and other special events.
Coal Lake North Provincial Recreation Area is located outside of Camrose and offers a variety of recreational opportunities. Canoeing and fishing are popular activities during the summer while ice fishing and snowmobiling dominate the winter months. Facilities include a fire-pit area, wood pile, washrooms and a water pump.
