Multiple winner of the Canadian Open and Grand Masters Fiddle Contests, Scott Woods and his band bring alive the music of the 30's, 40's and 50's in this two hour uplifting old time show. Swingin' Fiddles features not one, not two but three fiddlers playing together in harmony. Western swing, big band, pop standards, country, gospel and plenty of old time fiddling pack the program. Sensational step dancing, home spun family humour and of course Scott's famous trick fiddling make this a show you don't want to miss! Adults $20, Kids 6 - 12 $10, Kids 5 & under FREE.

Featuring a 5 km and 10 km run and a 2.5 km fun walk.

An estimated 120 professional cyclists from over 20 countries are slated to race in Alberta's inaugural Pro Cycling Event. Starting in Edmonton, racers wind south through rural roads, the Badlands, Rockies and foothills over a six-day course, ending with an exciting circuit through downtown Calgary. A series of festivals complement the event, organized at the local level, which include food, entertainment and a number of activities and celebrations that highlight the unique personalities of each community.

This event will be held simultaneously at schools large and small from coast-to-coast.
